2. What we collect and why

The game does not ask for your name, e-mail address or phone number. It shows no ads and uses no analytics or tracking tools.

Other players see your nickname, title, league and ranking result, so do not use your real name as a nickname. Nicknames pass a filter for rude words and for impersonating the game's staff. You can report an inappropriate nickname by e-mail, and we may change it to a neutral one.

Giving us data is voluntary, but without an account and a nickname you cannot play online (playing against the bot works without them). We make no automated decisions with legal effects about you and do not profile you for marketing. Matchmaking in ranked play and the nickname filter are not such decisions.

3. Playing side by side

Side-by-side play connects two phones over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi (Google Nearby Connections). Older Android versions require the location permission for this, but the game neither reads nor stores your location. Room QR codes are scanned by Google Play services on the phone; the camera image does not reach us. Android may save the game's data (including the login token) in your Google backup if you have it turned on.

4. The faunaarena.com website: cookies and browser storage

The website uses no advertising or analytics cookies. Your language choice is saved in your browser's storage (localStorage). Google's sign-in script loads only when you click "Sign up with Google"; from then on Google may read or set its own cookies under its privacy policy.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell data or share it with advertisers. We do not transfer data outside the European Economic Area ourselves. Google may process data in the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

6. How long we keep data

The e-mail address from the website sign-up is deleted at the latest 3 months after the game's launch, or earlier if you withdraw your consent. Account data and progress are kept while the account exists. When the account is deleted we remove it from the database at once and from backups within 30 days. Matches with a deleted account stay in the opponent's history without data that identifies you. The server's technical log is kept for up to 30 days and correspondence for up to a year after the matter is closed.

7. Deleting your account

Delete your account and all progress in the game: Settings → Delete account. If you no longer have access to the game, go to faunaarena.com/en/delete-account or write to faunaarena@gmail.com with your nickname, and we will delete the account within 30 days.

8. Age

The game is meant for people aged 16 and over. On first start it asks for your year of birth; the phone keeps only an age group (16–17, 18+) and does not send it to us. Younger people get no account. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 16, we will delete it, and a parent can ask us to do so at any time.

9. Purchases

Payments, once enabled, are handled by Google Play. We do not receive payment card data. The odds of each rarity are always shown in the shop before a purchase.

10. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability, to object to processing based on legitimate interest and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting what happened before). Write to us and we will answer within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority (UODO, uodo.gov.pl) or the authority in the country where you live.
